After you receive your MoviePass card in the mail log into the MoviePass app.
On the home screen, you should see a banner that says “Activate your MoviePass card”. Click this banner.
You will be prompted to take a picture of your card to activate it. You also have the option to manually activate your card by inputting the last 4 digits of your card number.
If you click camera activation, allow the app to access your camera and take a photo of the front of your card. The last four digits of the card will populate and you can then press the “Activate Card” button. Your card is now activated and ready to use!
I don’t see an “Activate Card Banner”
- If you don’t see a red activate card banner that means that your card has been auto activated. You should receive an in-app message alerting you that your card is activated and ready to use. No action on your part is required.
- If you go to an e-ticketing theater before receiving your card, your card will be automatically activated.
If you're still having issues.
- Send us a chat through the MoviePass app. To do this click on Account across the bottom navigation bar of the app, then click on Help. Tap on the category of the type of issue you are having and the article that relates closest to the problem. You should now see Contact Us. Click here to start a chat. Make sure in your first message you provide as many details as possible so we route you to the right agent. Also ensure you have push notifications enabled so we can notify you when we respond.
