Using a virtual card to buy a ticket at a theater is not often possible.  The theater must have a way for the information on the virtual card to be entered manually (no tap, no chip reader, and no sliding the card), and this ability varies by theater.

  

The best way to use a virtual card is to buy online through the theater site or your favorite ticketing app.
