My Card Declined At the Theater
August 5 2024 2:52pmYour card can decline at the theater for a few reasons:
You forgot to check in before swiping your card
Your two hour reservation window has expired (once you check in, you have two hours to purchase your ticket)
You used the wrong zip code when trying to purchase your ticket
You’re trying to buy more than 1 ticket at a time
You’re trying to purchase a specialty screening ticket (IMAX, 3D, Dolby, 70mm, etc.)*
If your card declines for any of the reasons above, please try swiping the card again after you’ve made sure to check in and confirmed that:
You've checked in successfully
Your reservation is still valid
You submit the zip code associated with your MoviePass account
You’re only trying to purchase a single standard 2D movie ticket.
